SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
We consider poetry, fiction, flash, and nonfiction.
There are no set guidelines for content or length. The quality of the work is
most important to us. If you press us to be specific, we like writing that
conveys a sense of place in the real or imagined landscape.
We accept email submissions September 1 to January 31.
The average response time for submissions is twelve to sixteen weeks.
Please submit only one manuscript at a time: 1 story, 1 essay, 4-5 flash/short-shorts, 3-5 poems.
Do not submit again until you have received a response. Simultaneous submissions are acceptable.
Please notify us by email immediately if your work is accepted elswhere.
As payment, we offer authors two copies of the issue in which their work appears.
We acquire first North American serial rights, first electonic rights, and anthology rights.
All rights revert to the author upon publication.
